Mystery! - The Mystery! Collection (DVD) This collection presents a trio of BBC detective dramas presented as part of PBS`s popular MYSTERY! series. Based on the novels of Elizabeth George, the acclaimed INSPECTOR LYNLEY MYSTERIES television series pairs upper-crust detective Inspector Lynley (Nathaniel Parker) with working-class partner Barbara Havers (Sharon Small) on Scotland Yard`s most difficult cases. The two-part pilot episode, A Great Deliverance (2001) introduces Lynley series television unit and Havers as they investigate a beheading on the Yorkshire moors. The television series SECOND SIGHT (1999) follows police detective Ross Tanner (CLOSER`s Clive Owen) as he battles criminals while coming to terms with his impending blindness. In this first installment, Tanner teams with ambitious new inspector Catherine Tully (Claire Skinner) to solve the brutal murder of a 19-year-old college student. And Robson Green stars as detective Dave Creegan of the Organized series television unit and Serial Crime Unit in the television series TOUCHING EVIL (1997). Along with his partner Susan Taylor (Nicola Walker), the unconventional Creegan must deal with cases involving the seamier side of human nature, including pedophiles, serial killers, series television unit and cybercriminals in these three episodes from the series` debut season: The Lost Boys, To Death series television unit and Back, series television unit and What Amathus Wants. Meanwhile, the Second World War rages on around Rene series television unit and the cast of oddballs, but this seems to be the least of their problems in this riotously funny show.
